The Changing of Seasons
After months of social isolation JR is announcing the beginning of new season activity with the opening concert on August 30th with the Munich Chamber Orchestra and Omer Meir Wellber.
The program that will be highlighted in the upcoming months is ‘The Eight Seasons by A. Vivaldi & A. Piazzolla’. Two takes on the classical observation of seasons changing.
This work has fascinated me since childhood, and I am incredibly happy that now I have the opportunity to record all of the Eight Seasons on a mandolin. The recording will take place in October 2020 in Leipzig and we are currently in advanced negotiations with a prominent record company to distribute the album worldwide. I hope you will be a part of this journey. It is one of the most challenging and most exciting projects I've ever been a part of.
This extraordinary program, rarely performed in its entirety, and even more rarely in its mandolin edition, will be performed in Israel, Italy, and Germany, so many of you will have a chance to catch it live.
